إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَن آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ فَعَسَىٰ أُولَٰئِكَ أَن يَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ

"The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, give zakāh, and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be among the rightly guided."

About the Project

المسجد المزمع بناؤه بإذن الله يمثل منعطفاً تاريخياً في تاريخ الإسلام في قرية محلة أحمد ومركز كوم حمادة، محافظة البحيرة. القرية من قرى مصر القديمة في شمال غرب دلتا النيل، يعيش فيها مئات الآلاف بصفة دائمة فضلاً عن عشرات الآلاف ممن يترددون عليها من خارج القرية.

The proposed mosque, God willing, represents a significant historical turning point in the religious history of Mahallat Ahmad village and Kom Hamadah Center, Al-Buḥayrah Governorate. The village is one of the ancient Egyptian villages in the northwestern Nile Delta, home to hundreds of thousands of permanent residents and tens of thousands more who regularly visit from outside.
